When Oxdog decided to enter the rapidly growing world of padel, expectations were high. The brand already had a strong reputation for innovation and performance in other racket sports, and the move into a new category demanded a launch that was equally precise, technical, and emotionally compelling.
Having built a long-standing collaboration with Oxdog, Tarvalley was trusted to help define how the new product family would meet its audience for the very first time.
The challenge was twofold.
We needed to explain advanced technology and differentiating features – while simultaneously creating
desire.
Our approach centered around a series of clearly defined USPs, each designed to communicate what makes the rackets unique and why those innovations matter on court. Instead of overwhelming the viewer with specifications, we translated engineering into visual storytelling. Materials, balance, structure, and feel were highlighted through controlled movement, dramatic lighting, and tight choreography between camera and object.
To achieve this, we began by producing highly realistic 3D models and surfaces for the entire lineup. Every carbon pattern, texture, and reflection was carefully crafted to align with Oxdog’s graphic identity. The ambition was simple: when players saw the racket, they should want it – instantly.
Parallel to the visual work, we developed the film’s rhythm and expression. Together with music producers Andreas Grenholm and Tobias Kågström, we shaped a soundscape that amplified speed, control, and confidence. Image and audio became inseparable, reinforcing the premium positioning of the brand.
But we did not stop at film.
To generate additional excitement and social reach, Tarvalley created a web-based augmented reality experience. Using the same production-ready models, users could project selected rackets directly into their own environment, walk around them, and inspect details interactively. Because the solution ran in the browser, access was frictionless – no app downloads, no barriers, just instant engagement.
It turned curiosity into participation.
Beyond the hero content, we also delivered a comprehensive set of high-end packshots. These assets were optimized for web, retail, marketing, and sales channels, ensuring visual consistency across every touchpoint of the launch.
For Tarvalley, the Oxdog padel introduction became a textbook example of how digital products should enter competitive markets. Build anticipation. Clarify value. Remove friction. Strengthen brand.
From first impression to first swing –
the story had already begun.
